What great action!! What is the main event on this tape?! Take your pick from Mr Perfect against the 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair, or the battles of the heavyweights Bam Bam vs Typhoon, and Earthquake vs Yokozuna. But don't forget about another classic Hitman vs Shawn Micheals match. Or even two matches with the Undertaker at his very best against Razor Ramon, and later Papa Shango. With Kamala, Doink, Tatanka and Repo Man also fighting it's a hard choice. Hey did I mention a 16 man Battle Royal!! Whatever the main event is, there's no doubt about this video being classic WWF.

Wrestlemania VIII saw the passing of the torch from the old guard to the new breed with the younger guys getting the job done. This event is notable for two classic matches. Firstly, the Bret Hart vs Piper IC title match was very well worked. Bret took a kicking and the two traded technique and brawling very smoothly. It was clear that these two knew each other well and the chemistry was great. Bret really got over after this match. The second was between two of the greats, Flair vs Savage. They didn't have much time to prepare a story but if Flair and Savage can't put on a good match together then nobody can. A rarely mentioned, often forgotten 5 star match. The main event was Hogan vs Flair......oh wait, that's what it should have been, that's ... Read More:

This is a very good pay-per-view event for the early 1990s. The opening bout is the best of the undercard, with some high flying moves from the young Owen and The Orient Express are seriously underrated. The intercontinental title match is not a let down either, short and sweet, this is Piper at the best he has been for years (and he is great in the Rumble too!). The only real stinker of the card is the very dull Bushwhackers bout. This Royal Rumble match is easily the greatest of all time. For the only time in history it was for the WWF World Title, and Ric Flair picked up the belt as a result of his win. The bout itself is very gripping, and is supported by a strong undercard. This video is now avaliable on DVD as a Tagged Classic with Royal Rumble ... Read More:

The previous reviews are all glittering but I had a different view of Bad Blood 2003
1.Dudley Boyz vs Rodney Mack & Chris Nowinski (4/10)
This match was surprisingly decent for an opener on a RAW only PPV. Nowinski is not made for wrestling however and Rodney Mack fights the battle himself. The match picks up in the middle but a slow and really bad ending.
Scott Steiner vs Test (5/10)
The winner of this match would win Stacy Keiblers managerial services. Test wasted so much time taunting Stacy that it got slow, the only times it picked up were when Steiner pulled off some of his famous suplexes etc. A pretty good ending though, watch this match for Stacy if anything.
Christain vs Booker T Intercontinental ... Read More:

I know that is a horrible title but this tape is surprisingly good. There's a few matches you'll probably skip but there are a few classics. And every match on this tape is shown in full with no clipping.
GOOD POINTS:
Yokozuna:-'Cooking for the single man': (This segment needs to be seen to be believed as 'Mean' Gene Okerlund sits down with Mr Fuji and Yokozuna for dinner.Trust me you will not believe how much this guy could eat,and back then he weighed less than Mable/Viscera)
Bret 'Hitman' Hart profile: This is the highlight of the tape.We get three full Bret Hart matches plus he talks about each one with Gorilla Monsoon(RIP).
Bret Hart VS Shawn Michaels. (This is a great match. It is the first ever Ladder match ... Read More:

This event started off slowly, but gained momentum fast (I suggest making the snacks during the first match). Worth watching for Pillman vs. Windham (which for some reason didn't make Pillman's DVD) and Steiners vs. Sting & Luger (match of the year) alone. Bobby Eaton's best singles match was also recorded here against Arn Anderson - and is a classic. A thoroughly entertaining event with the best performing at their best... and then there's El Egante... call it an intermission.
