Craven's "Scream" is a masterpiece, it can't be denied. The intricate references to previous horror-movie greats is fantastic and Craven voices his thoughts on the horror genre throughout the film through the character Randy, a movie buff.
There are many plot twists and turns that make for edge-of-your-seat viewing. I loved this film and I highly recommend it to any horror fan. I also recommend you buy the soundtrack - it's awesome.

Someone said on another site that it killed WCW, well that is nonsense.
A great little movie, even better with Bill Goldberg shining in it.
Yes; I am a big fan of "The Man".

This movie see's three close friends, accidently murder the most popular and pretty girl at school, and aside from the terror on their faces, as they try to hide the fact that they killed 'Liz', it show's them going to drastic lengths to cover up their part in her death, from turning the high school nerd, one of the most dull, boring teens in the school into one of the 'in crowd', and to getting someone to have sex with the dead body of their 'friend'.

There are plenty of laughs in this but it's very rude and probably not suitable for tweleve years old, maybe a higher rating would do better. But it's not without laughs and romance, Brendan Fraser is a classic in this and totally not taking himself seriously. It's worth seeing and having a laugh, just wished they killed off the monkey during the film. Argh!

Koontz's stuff has always been mostly miss the stories that really shiver are Watchers, Phantoms and Hideaway and although Watchers was a pretty poor film the story was good. Phantoms is a true fine horror with elements that were stolen by the makers of Silent Hill, the scary bit with the radio static and the flying bat thing...freaky. Ben Afflecks performance here is a little stiff but Liev Schriber's is very sinister and at times a little funny. Good film.
