this is my favourite of all three albums with millennium as a close second. I love this one cos they all sound really young and it was the first tracks of theirs I heard way back in 1996 when I bought it. I also like it cos it features a lot more of Kevin's gorgeously deep voice!

Another high-quality release which shows off the enormous vocal talents of the phenomenon that is the Backstreet Boys. “Black and Blue” sees the Boys sticking to what they do best – beautiful ballads with rich harmonies like “Shape of my Heart” and “More Than that” with the occasional energetic pop piece such as “The call” thrown in for good measure. Ok lets cut to the chase. This album is AWESOME. For people that are already BSB fans: This album shows a side of the boys that has yet to be uncovered until now. They are all much more mature and you can hear that in the music. Not only is everything much more relaxed (nick doesn't sound like he's on the verge of popping neck veins) but the songs are much more grown up and on a level that even grown ups can apprecite (no more teeny boppin' to *lets have a party*). They haven't ditched their trade mark backstreet style, it's still there but is perfectly accompanied by an alternative feel (bsb meets lifehouse/matchbox twenty).

I was (and still am) a MASSIVE Five fan, possibly the biggest NZ fan of them EVER. I went to see them live in 2000, and they rocked. They sadly split up in September 2001 - and only Abs has done a solo career since then. But Five were the UK's greatest boyband (but Blue have done quite well), and their career lasted for a massive five years - 1997 to 2001. This CD contains all their greatest hits, all their singles, and a few never released before songs, which are great. I will review my favourite tracks from this CD:

Unbreakable - Deluxe Edition

Well, if you like the Backstreet Boys you won't be disappointed with this album. Kevin is missing but there are still 4 great voices here. We've watched them all grow and Nick's matured along with his voice. As with most groups the sound has matured with them, and grown more sophisticated, although as far as I'm concerned A.J.'s voice couldn't get much better, it's like velvet!
There are some great lyrics on this, e.g. track no 6, Any other way: "there you go, caught you crashing my dreams again, just when I'm tryin to get over you", "a world without you is only wasted space"- and the boys themselves had a hand in writing some of them. Millennium [Us Import]

This truly is an addictive album. The Backstreet Boys are wonderfully talented and I can honestly say that every track on this album is fantastic. The harmonies work so well and there is a wide variety of slow and dance tracks. If you want to be entertained then buy this!

It's their best album ever... The tracks are funky and really cool! What else can you ask for, that for 5 good looking guys which style and good music??? That album ist TOP!
