If you like trance/chillout albums the likes of which resemble Enigma, then your want to add this to your collection, but if your looking for something authentic, and original, that helps you feel the mood and spirit of the native american tribes and cultures, then stay away from this cd, because you will be disapointed.
However i will be recommending it to my friends who like a chillout session after a long nights clubbing

Awful. I can't think of anything good to say. Every track is the same story - all you can hear is a drum machine and a synthesised flute that don't sound in the least authentic. Any singing is simply drowned out.

Sacred Spirit Vol. 2 - A Culture Clash

Great Album with a huge variety of interesting musical and philosophical themes. Excellent sound quality and production throughout. If you're in to new age electronic music you'll love the first couple of tracks - sensational. The rest sounds slightly off the wall at first but grows on you errily. I spent an entire evening with this album playing repeatedly while I was doing some housework and found it slightly mesmerizing.
To my mind Claus Zundel is one of the most consistently interesting producers out there. If you don't know his music check him out - any B-Tribe album or in any of his many guises. You're in for a real treat. Peter Taylor

The Wind is My Mother: The Life and Teachings of a Native American Shaman

I'm glad I've read this book.
I like books that combine logic and spirituality, and ones that cross reference religions, and Bear Heart does these in his book.
(especially with Christianity).
Then it all adds up as evidence of these ideas being possible truths in the theories of life, universe 'god'/'spirit' and everything.

I'm not saying that I necessarily believe all the theories in this book to be definitley true, but I think there are many probable truths, and much wisdom in the theories in this book, and some valuable life lessons in this book, to be learned or revised, depending on your point in your spiritual path.

Disc 1 ( of the enclosed 3 ) was my first introduction to Native American music, together with SACRED SPIRIT, and I can't think of a more exciting and balanced introduction ( for someone totally ignorant of N.A. music) than those two CDs together.

Soon followed Disc 3, as I went on to buy the above boxset, by the same artists - the credits for discs 1 & 3 are: Traditional /Wasskoenig /Reklov, meaning the vocals are authentic Native Americans', while the music is composed by Thomas Wasskoenig and Reklov. They also sometimes sell under the name ' NAVAJO'.

I wouldn't normally review a book, so this will probably sound like a load of rubbish.

This book is great, I am not an avid reader, but could hardly put this book down!

This has taught me so much about life, and made me re-evaluate my life and life in general. I feel richer and more rounded after these fantastic words from Lame Deer. His insight, knowledge and wisdom about so many aspects of life is simply brilliant, and certainly thought provoking. It has changed me as a person.
I now feel I MUST read it all over again.

The best book I have EVER read, or will ever read. Simply FANTASTIC.
