These are exquisite CDs. I have some lovely cards "trust your vibes" by Sonia Choquette. One of the cards is "Aura Cleanse" and this CD is perfect for that. Also for raising your spirits if you feel blocked and generally to wind down and relax. I love the words that Deepak Chopra gives us for each chakra. CD no. 2 is also wonderful for creating a beautiful atmosphere - for myself alone and also if I have invited friends to the house. Maybe they won't notice the dust when the music is so lovely!

I have been using this cd for some time now on and off. I have always found that it helps me relax and feel very calm. Following recent surgery I have used the cd every day and found that my overall well being has improved by a quantum leap.
Using the cd is a beautiful experience in itself and I would recommend it to anyone new to meditation or those in need of physical healing.

No where in the description of this tiny book does it say that it is miniature. I was very disappointed having expected a full size hardcover book of poems!

To all of you who know me, you know that I love this type of book but this one is the cake with the cherry on the top. It makes most of the others appear shallow in a strange way. This is short, only 111 pages but it packs a mighty punch. I found that I was reading it slowly as I didn't want it to end. It outlined in such clear terms what others have been saying on the laws of the universe and how to tap into them to receive what you need out of life. One chapter that hit me between the eyes was how we are responsible for our feelings. I knew this as an academic concept but perhaps because of the wording, I realised that if someone said something to me which upset me, then it wasn't their fault but mine for feeling the way I did. I started to see events ... Read More:

Yes, he's good, very knowing. This 13th century Persian mystic has a nice, artful way with words and metaphors and, along with his 13th century German contemporary, Meister Eckhart, Rumi demonstrates beautifully with his rich, penetrating poetic style (not poems as such) that the divine Presence is WITHIN you and waiting to be discovered. This timeless insight - so horrendously concealed by the literalism of institutional religion - shines out on virtually every page. A few segments are perhaps too vague and prosaic, but overall this little books sits well alongside any of the mystical classics.

I feel Eckhart Tolle has his finger completely on the pulse.
It so clearly argued, and the best part is ; put it into practice and it works.
How could it not.

I bought this book having read the other positive reviews. I was very disappointed. There are ideas in this book that I didn't find very spiritual or loving at all.
For example, quotes from the book:
"The following women are not to be enjoyed at all....women who are too pale and white...women who are too dark and black"
"Easy Women...a woman who has no one to look after her and keep her in check...A woman whose child has died...Poor women...A woman who is proud of her achievements...Older women"
I was amazed and saddenned that these ideas were present in this book.

The poetry in this Cd is amazing, what else can we expect it is Rumi, but also translations of Coleman Barks are very easy to understand.
As for the music, it was totally a turn off, it was definately not in harmony with the poetry. the sitar was the ONLY instrument that was played and i am dissapointed to say he did not play it well at all.
The musicians and the speaker need a connection, and in this CD, they were two people very far apart with no connection, no balance and no communication, the music played here, and the poetry do not belong together.
The best CD of Rumi's poetry is by Deepak Chopra, a gift of love (compilation of rumi's poems) .
