A briiliant DVD and Cd. Found I needed lots of tissues!
I do not understand a word of Italian but you do not need to.
Have watched and listened to many Opera's never understood a word
but you do not need to as long as you know what the storyline is.
The English translations are not that good anyway. I go with the flow.
Also to be recommended is 'Sogno' absolutely great. I could go on but won't.
All best heard when you waken up in the small hours, or late at night trouble sleeping.

Vivere - Greatest Hits

I have this CD on constant repeat! The music is so varied but holds your attention every step of the way. Bocelli's voice is one you just have to fall in love with. His "Romanza" is 1 of my favourites but "Vivo Per Lei" has me hooked also. GET THIS CD!!!!!!

I am lost for words! An insiperation it must be to so many people. If you listen to Andrea sing and watch him on DVD you will understand.
I had a good cry. There by the grace of God etc. but we have had our moments. Grandson at twelve with a brain tumour.

A book I will not part with or lend out. It is so uplifting! like his voice.
Feeling down! buy and read it, it will help I promise.

Andrea Bocelli simply has one of the most beautiful voices in the world. Amore is a collection of fine love songs, which Bocelli sings absolutely beautifully. These tracks are really suited to his style - they just sound so rich and you can really feel the emotion in his voice. The production on this album is equally great and Amore really is one of the most beautiful albums of the year.

What a concert!: Held in Lajatico, the home of Andrea, in the open and surrounded by the hills, only enhances the magic of artistes on top form. Lang Lang, Elisa, Paula Pausini, Chris Botti, Kenny G, Heather Headley,(her performance of 'The Prayer' with Andrea, is stunning)Sarah Brightman and the peerless Andrea Bocelli. I wish I could have been there in person, but watching this DVD is almost as good, if not better.

I have all of Bocelli's CDs and for me this ranks number 1, followed closely by Cieli di Toscana. As with most of his works, the first time of hearing doesn't have too great an impact but the music grows on you. I will be humming a tune during the day and wonder what is that? Then I remember that it's off the Sogno album or Cieli di Toscana album. I then cannot wait to get home so that I can play the cd again. His voice is great, the tunes are melodious and the overall production superb.
Highly recommended.

Romanza

Romanza" was my first Andrea Boticelli album and still remains my favorite. I think this is the tenor's most definitive collection, showcasing his sweet, rich sound, powerfully held long notes, and exquisite sense of cadence. Supposedly, this was the CD geared to "bridge the gap" between pop and opera. Boticelli certainly exhibits a diverse style with this top-notch selection of romantic songs.

When I originally bought "Romanza," back in the 20th century, I did so because of Botecelli's interpretation of "Con te Partiro," (Time To Say Goodbye"), which is still an exceptional song after all these years.
