This disc is simply beautiful. Two are its main characteristics:continuity and change. Continuity relates to individual tracks which display a pronounced element of recursion that is repetition with slight variation of the same theme which promotes a feeling of soothing, calm and relaxation. Recursion is something employed successfully in distinctly different areas:in music famously employed by J.S.Bach to excellent effect in his baroque compositions, in graphics by Escher and in Mathematics by Goedel while it forms the basis of fractal Geometry. Anti-Stress

This CD is excellent quality for its budget price; it is very calming and creates a relaxing ambience to help you chill, de-stress and unwind. It is excellent background music for reading to, soaking in a bath and also works great to help you get off to sleep.

Meditation - Music for Relaxation & Dreaming

I bought this CD on the basis of being called "Meditation" - however as other reviewers have commented it is definately not music for meditating to. However, what you do have is a collection of classical music to relax to.

I am not a big classics fan but some pieces were already familiar to me through their use in film and television. There were one or two tracks that I found a little too dramatic to find relaxing but on the whole I would happily recommend this if you are looking for a collection of gentle, soothing and quite beautiful music.

Therapy Room - Relaxation

Finally, a CD I can drift off to sleep with! I've tried quite a few but they didn't help slow down my stressed out brain at night as this one does. The beautiful melodies on this CD have a lovely calming effect on my poor head sending me off to sleep feeling relaxed and happy. No jarring instruments and nothing too deep and moody, just gently played, lighthearted, tranquil melodies - works a treat!

This CD is excellent quality for its budget price; it is very calming and creates a tranquil ambience to help you get off to sleep. Each track is pleasing and relaxing, and helps me get back to sleep again quickly when waking through the night.

Ambient Heaven - Relaxation

This does not do it for me at all. It is like weird synth music with touch of 70's porn feel and wierd oriental mix that is to fast for relaxation adn has loud bongs and sythn parts which would wake you up if lsitening to whilst having a therapy treatment. I trieed to be objective and did listen to it as whole adn hated it if honest not my thing and I don't feel remotely relaxing more elevator music that is old fashion and not wholesome holistic. I would actually send it back as not worth the money and dissappointed. Some may like it and find it inoffensive but I just don't find it what I wanted and not to my taste at all. Well, I was very dissappointed in this CD, I was looking for a relaxing natural soundtrack, and to be quite frank, there are no natural sounds on this CD at all, and I find it hard to believe that water was is in anyway connected to this 'music' at all.
Are all ambient heaven cds like this??

For less than £4 this CD is well worth buying. The other reviewers who gave it 5 stars are not wrong. It does create a sense of peacefulness and calm.

This cd was recommended to me by a colleague of mine, I wasn't sure - it seemed old and dated in terms of published date. However, I have been pleasantly suprised, it's easy to follow, he has a very calm voice and it's very relaxing! It's so easy to follow you don't have to listen to it every time you want to relax - you simply remember what he said! Helping me loads! Anyone suffering from stress, anxiety, lack of sleep or you simly want to relax - BUY IT!
