i thought im buying this album!!
when i got it and played with volume and bass i was amazed this by far one of the best albums ever made!!!
the lyrics really make you think and realise.
if you you are thinking of getting the album please get and spread damians word and music

if bob marley was still alive this would be his pride. Steven Marley doesnt just brng us some the good old rasta lyrics, but with a new fresh vibe to intrace your love for reggae and hip hop even. Great work.Love the track 'Let her Dance' steven marley carry's that same voice of meaning as the other Marley's, but i have to say he out did himself. fantastic.

All I can say is, OH YEAH!!! this is the best Album I have bought in a long while. As a debut solo album it is unbelievable, and compared with his work with the Melody Makers is very different, but certainly worth every penny of my money. Although his voice and to some extent his slightly politicaly motivated songs are somewhat reminiscent of his father, they are also individual and this album certainly cuts it.

The Fugees created a genius album. The Score, for me is what Hip Hop music should be about. The lyrics are clever, the beats are amazing, and I look at so called Hip Hop nowadays and it dosent even come close to this. Amazing album. Brings back memories.

This album can easily satisfy any reggae lover and unexpectedly grab hold onto non-reggae listeners into its clutches. Buju is masterful on the mic with his rough sounding style and the production is perfect. It's one of the Best reggae album I own that is constantly on rotation when I'm in the mood for this genre. Buju open the album with the brief a cappella psalm, "Shiloh," which is inspirational and extraordinary to hear. On the next two tracks he explodes with sound and feeling with first "Til I'm Laid to Rest," a melody that is intertwines with an homage to Africa and his faith in the Promised Land. Man Like I

Of course, I first heard Natty doing an acoustic of "Bedroom Eyes" which made me sit up and listen.

There's been far too much self-referential "talky" music recently, where the singer is trying to suggest that they are rather clever and knowing, and just end up looking arrogant.

While some might class "Man Like I" as being in a similar vein, Natty's lyrics are intelligently written and thought provoking. More than that, he's got a voice that you can listen to, rather than terrible mockney accents that have pervaded the music scene this summer.

Buy it, listen to the chilled out sound, then listen again and think about what he's saying.
