A few years ago I remember buying this and thinking it was a really good album and it is a very good album, it has great lyrics, good riffs, and great songs and that's all you need. My favourite songs are "Somewhere I Belong", "Faint", "Figure .09", "Breaking The Habit" & Numb". I don't mind what genre they are in they are a good band (if you forget about there new album), they are much better then Korn & Limp Bizkit and have much more talent, but still it was obviously never gonna be as good as Megadeth's So Far So Good So What! or Black Sabbath self titled debut but those are totally different genres and my own opinion. So overall this is an excellent album recommended for Linkin Park fans and fans of rap metal.

I first heard Linkin Park's `Crawling' on a Saturday morning music show- I had never heard anything like It. I'd never really been into music before, but the angst ridden, thundering chorus of this song really spoke to me. On the strength of the single alone I bought the album and - to my delight - loved it!
Even though the album and band where bourn for an era where short-lived Nu-metal ruled the world, after which many bands failed to move on from the sound which popularized them and subsequently where soon defunct, linkin park have survived and have since built on the solid foundation of Hybrid Theory, pursuing various sounds and becoming one of the only successful bands to meld together rap and metal.

If you are a massive fan of their old sound, of the Nu metal, then you should definitely avoid this album. If you are a music fan with an open mind then you should definitely purchase this. The sound that they have created is incredibly different. I really don't know why they changed that much. Once I like a band's sound I really don't like it when they try and reinvent themselves to change that, and that's exactly what Linkin Park have done here. I bought Meteora as my first Linkin Park album back in 2003 and I instantly loved it. The sound of the music was so unique, and to a 13 year old, pretty surprising as well. Meteora was the band's pinnacle and it is such a fantastic album. Then, after a couple of years of no activity from the band, I was highly ... Read More:

This is an amazing cd/dvd, combines the best parts of both artist's work amazingly blended. The only problem is the shortness of the music, because its obviously time consuming to mix these songs. But other than that a great selection of songs which work so well together. Most of the songs are timeless classics.

One reviewer has done a pretty informative review, so I don't have that much more to describe about this album. After buying Meteora in the summer of 2003, I was waiting for over a year to hear some new material from Linkin Park. However, this wasn't quite what I was looking for. The other 2 reviewers are hamming up this album and are saying that it is a great album. In my opinion they are so wrong. I am certainly not a Jay-Z fan, although I do like 99 problems which I had heard before I bought this. I think that anyone who likes both Jay-Z's music and Linkin Park's will be basking in brilliance with this album. In my opinion, the two styles just don't fit into each other. You have the suburban street rap of Jay-Z, which is full of F words and negativity, next to the ... Read More:

I will be the first to admit I am a new LP fan. After acquiring an iPod and pumping it full of my favourite music (Mostly rock) I set about looking for new sounds and came across Linkin Park. After purchasing Hybrid Theory I was hooked. The rawness, the lyrics, the rhythm... man it's all good! Meteora was just as excellent purchase and when I found out about this CD/DVD I couldn't resist. I have a number of music DVDs and DVD-Audio compilations and this ranks at the top with the best of them. Playing it on a dedicated surround sound system with the volume up is the best way to experience it. It's energetic, loud and packed full of their best music, and the sound quality is on a par with a studio recording. The opening song, "Don't stay" just sends goose pimples up my spine ... Read More:

I once saw an interview where Chad Kroeger said he asked fans what made How You Remind Me work. People said the chorus, the catchy riffs etc. So basically that's what the man cares about which disheartens me. I bought The Long Road and I really like Someday, but on every album they make 3 or 4 singles and the rest appears to be just filler, something to pad it out to called it an album. Hopefully Nickelback realise their sell out status and make music for the right reasons, as the album title misleads.

I first heard about Paramore eariler on this year, my friend told me to listen to Until Tomorrow and I fell in love with the band. Hayley is an awesome singer and Riot! is now one of my favourite albums. CrushCrushCrush and That's What You Get have to be two of the best songs on the album and I think everyone should get it lol....god I ramble....

This is a brilliant album, perhaps even the Foo Fighters most complete album so far. I own every Foos album and although I love them all, I feel that there are generally a few filler songs on each album among the gems. However I find it difficult to pick faults in this album. As soon as 'The Pretender' bursts into life you are carried on a monumental journey of rock brilliance. The album flows so beautifully throughout with that raucous opening continued through to the middle of the album when a change of tone occurs and the lighter yet fantastically well thought out anthems of 'home', 'statues' and 'but honestly' give a nice sort of contemplation time at the end of the album after a good 7 or 8 songs of jumpy rock. It is difficult to pick favourite songs on this album but I think 'The Pretender' and 'Home' sum the album up.
