I saw this and already have it but I just wanted to say that out of all the artists that have released their Christmas album - this one by Lady Mariah Carey is the BEST to date. Also, because it's 14 years old it's really cheap. So - buy the BEST Christmas album as the bargain of the century.

This CD is one of those Christmas CD's that everyone has to have in their CD collection. Its lovely in my eyes. its great for the Christmas time! Don't pull this CD out in the middle of August u would really be daft! but I think its one those Christmas CD's every1 has to have. Another Gr8 DC3 Album

My Kind of Christmas

I love this, its my favorite holiday album. This album is modern yet you still feel there are traditional elements in this album. I bought this album a year ago and i'm glad i did because it still sounds just as fresh.

Snowflakes

If you are a fan of Toni Braxtons previous albums then you will not be disapointed by her latest offering. As stated in the review this sounds like a classic Toni album. The focus is on ballads the best of which is 'snowflakes of love'.
However 'christmas in jamaica' featuring shaggy is one of the highlights of the album. Other favourites include 'have yourself a merry little chistmas' where Braxtons distinctive voice is used to great effect. This is worth buying if you are a fan of Toni Braxton or just looking for a different kind of christmas album.

The journalist Craig Seymour (in his bio on Luther) didn't rate this album, so I bought it with some trepidation.

Well, I don't think Craig coud have been more wrong. Some of Luther's vocals on these tracks are amongst his BEST ever performances. As ever, he sounds incredible, but with a Gospel intensity on the ballads; at times he's truly singing the chandelier right off the ceiling !!

It must have been electrifying in the studio. And his jazz-funk take on My Favourite Things is worth the price of admission alone... All the usual crew are there (Cissy, Cindy, Brenda, Lisa, Kevin, Marcus, Nat et al).

This had four number-one singles on it.
It's hard to choose a favourite among so many great tracks.
But the "Greatest Love Of All" is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation and dignity. It's universal message crosses all boundaries and instils one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. It's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message. Crucial, really. And it's beautifully stated on the album.

I've had this album in my life for years, I've listened to it more times than I can remember it's absolutely amazing, this album without a doubt spells out the word classic, even the generic 80's songs such as `I Wanna Dance With Somebody' and `So Emotional' have stood the test of time, I still hear `I Wanna Dance With Somebody' getting radio play on a regular basis. There's not a bad song on here, my favourites songs if I had to choose would be,'Just The Lonely Talking Again' classic, soft and smooth R&B, they really don't write songs like that anymore, 'Didn't We Almost Have It All' excellent Ballard with really nice lyrics and `Love Is A Contact Sport', upbeat catchy and energetic, very 80s love it as I do the whole album. Even if you don't like gospel but you do like RnB/Pop/soul then this is an album for you!

Whitney Houston's vocals on this album are fantastic! She shows why she is Whitney Houston!

I believe in you and me- this is a lovely ballad song! One of her classics! The cd includes the single version and the live performance she gave in the actual film. They are both great!

Step by step is a touching, up-lifting tune. I love it!
