Loads of top songs that should of been on this album were not included, such as D12's 'MY Band', and Ushers 'Yeah!'-saying as that single was at number one for weeks! and no sign of the basment Jaxx?? Some really good songs such as 'Matinee' by Franz Ferdinand and the Black eyed peas have there third single on the album aswell. I thought overall this album deserves 2 stars.

Chart hits are the order of the day once again as Now reaches no. 59 with a promise of 43 top chart hits, hmm well, Intenso Project is a rather debatable choice but as the single was released after NTWICM 59 (and im in a charitable mood) i shall give it the benefit of the doubt - music can be an acquired taste sometimes. CD1 brings us no.1 from the likes of Natasha Bedingfield, Eric Prydz with Call On Me (and no, the cd does NOT come included with the music video), Robbie Williams and (shudder) Busted and Mcfly with Thunderbirds Are Go and Obviously respectively. Just leave out the rancid Darius, V, Ronan Keating, Rachel Stevens and the unforgivable album closer from Duncan and Keedie and you're onto a winner, here. Also, extra kudos to Ashley Abram ... The best of the best (although some may argue the worst of the worst) of the chart world arrives at us in the form of the 60th (has it really been around that long?) edition of the world-famous Now series and when its good, its very, very good but of course, when its bad... cd 1 starts off with the spectacular (if slightly old) What You Waiting For by Gwen, Sunset Strippers' Falling Stars and Kylie's christmas no2 I Believe In You. No1's from Mcfly (the cheese-tastic Comic relief single All About You) and Nelly feat. Tim Mcgraw with Over And Over follow with other chart-toppers on the album from Ciara with the awful Goodies and Girls Aloud with the cringing I'll Stand By You. (what will the Pretenders say, let alone neighbours). Top tracks from the likes ... Read More:

The fifty-fourth installment of the pop compilation is not a letdown, unlike some Nows that follow. It has a great mixture of rnb (Justin, Beyonce & Jay-Z, Nelly & Kelly Rowland, Nelly & Justin), pop (Sugababes, S Club - uurgh! - Girls Aloud, Melanie C, Busted - uurgh!), indie (Coldplay, Oasis), and dance (Liberty X, Scooter, DJ Sammy). My personal favouriters are "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" "Move Your Feet" "Clocks" and "Being Nobody". On disc 2, there are many songs I have never heard of which is the one of the only reasons it's not five stars. It's a pleasing album and I'm sure people from ages 8-14 will enjoy it. HINT: Don't listen to S Club or Busted - they are displeasing mediocre pop.

Looking through the last 10 years, and being focused on the summer versions of the "NOW That's What I Call Music!" series, I realized that this the best! With a perfect tracklisting on Disc One, and an almost excellent selection for the Disc Two, the volume 52 of the most successful compilation series of all time fits perfectly on my CD player. We start Disc One with the excellent No1 by Ronan Keating "If Tomorrow Never Comes", which in my opinion, is the best ballad of the year. The CD moves to a totally different sound, with the perfect sound of "Just A Little" by Liberty X, which also made No1 and is a cover. George Michael's "Freeek!" (UK No7) is a very sexy/dance track which would be better on NOW 51, but appears here as a good classic of the year. Returning ... Read More:

Let me start by saying I am not from the UK and i don't know most of these songs.I bought it at a virgin megastore on vacation. Disc One
1.Sugababies-Push The Button 4/5
2.Robbie Williams-Tripping 3/5
3.Pussycat Dolls-Don't Cha 0/5
4.Daniel Powter-Bad Day 2/5
5.David Gray-The One I Love 3/5
6.Kelly Clarkson-Since U Been Gone 2/5
7.Will Young-Switch It On 4/5
8.Girls Aloud-Biology 4/5
9.McFly-I'll Be OK 3/5
10.Kaiser Chiefs-I Predict A Riot 5/5
