I haven't heard the whole album but I just want to say that Live with Me with Terry Callier is the sexiest record EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It even beats Night Nurse by Gregory Issacs and that's saying something!

Brilliant collection with most for their hits (up to mid 2007) on it, and containing lots of bits that have been used in adverts and on the TV shows such as 'Dancing with the Star's etc'.
In addition, it contains some excellent 'Get up and go' music for those long dark winter mornings when you need to get out of bed and go to work: You will be dancing while you make the toast with this lot on your CD player! Basically, a must have for every CD collection.

The Best of Groove Armada

Having bought this album after hearing it playing in the hairdressers (!), I was not dissappointed. There are so many songs I recognised that I didn't even realise were Groove Armada's and there's a real mix of chill out songs along with dance/pop, so whatever mood you're in this album will give you a lift! I don't think this album will ever sound out-dated, it's great!

I don't know how people couldn't like "Last This Day" & think it wishy-washy. Anyone who has ever had a premature baby or lost a baby, this song speaks directly to you, full of the desperate quiet heartbreak of a parent just wanting their child to live, just last this day. Powerful, powerful stuff. Faithless isn't all about the bangin' choonz, y'know - there are songs of gentle wisdom, stuff that speaks to the heart, among the anthems.

Hi,
This album is the greatest album in my collection and will probably go down as my favourite album ever !
I was 16yrs old and had my first job after leaving School. With my first pay packet I rushed out to buy this album after hearing so much hype about them. I had seen them on Rapido and also some heard some airplay on the radio and I really liked the sound. I bought the album and the rest was history. If the Beatles & The Stones moulded the 60's The Stones Roses moulded the whole Madchester Indie scene and dominated it with this masterpiece. I love this album as it has everything and reminds me of being young and the sun shining all the time ! Dummy

I've heard this record for the first time today,(been on another planet!) and the first thing that struck me about it was how the vocal is so similar to my favourite female singer, the little known (in this country}, HEATHER NOVA. I'm not a fan of much electronic music, and I was particularly irritated by the 'vinyl scratching' that appears in several of the songs, however mainly because of the vocal and the songs that don't involve the scratch I know i'm going to really like this album. If you dont know HEATHER NOVA, do me (and yourself)a favour and go have a listen. If you love Beth Gibbons vocal with 'trip hop' music, you will be blown away by HEATHER NOVA with a live band. I suggest 'oyster' as the first album to try, or 'storm' if you prefer a more mellow sound.

harrowing, infectual and experimental sounds make this a far superior offering to the pedestrian dummy.thats no too say dummy is lazy or derivative it has some great tracks and a consistant theme but i think it never really climaxed like this self titled lp. cringeworthy certainly not gorgeous and expressive absolutely rarely groups have the integrety to produce music that attempts something new and in doing so pushes the boundaries for a greater experience in their second helping i strongly reccomend this for anyone who is ready to emerce themselves in the greatness this sublime album has to offer

High Times: Singles 1992-2006

It is clear that jamiroquai are something of an unusual band. I remember seeing them for the first time on TV in around 1993, (I think it was the show, The Word) performing Too Young To Die, and immediately clocked the retro 70's jazz funk style and as i was and still am a fan of such music, immediately became a fan and went out and bought the single.
The fender rhodes keys, the Stevie Wonder-esque voice, the funky bass and horns,and the sci-fi imagery and lyrics, all came to make a great sound and package, and whats more the first proper British jazz funk since Light of The World, and a great antidote to the Brit pop or electronicky stuff around.
Their first album was a constant visitor to my Cd player.
