I have all the Euphoria albums and this is the one that I always come back to - it lives in my car now and I love it when I'm on the motorway - jack up the volume and sweet... def the best. Full of classic dance floor fillers - and mixed sublimely, superbly and sure. Buy it whilst you can because this is one worth having in your collection.

Well if like me you were partying in the early nineties, then this is the one album you need. This album has every club classic from this era, I think nearly all are the original mixes aswell, not something you always get with compilations. Superb!!!!!

I buy dance compilations primarily to listen to good mixing between (good) tracks. The track selection on this package isn't awful, OK there are some tracks that perhaps shouldn't be there, but what annoys me slightly is the total lack of any careful mixing between tracks. Some transitions are as smooth as silk, whereas others are a simple fade down and fade up which all takes place in about 3 seconds, or just a crash edit, which I find defeats the point of buying an album such as this.

When will MOS return to letting actual named DJ's mix their output?

The Very Best of Euphoric Dance Breakdown 2007

With no reviews previous to this, i thought the quality of this cd deserved at least one. This is a fantastic cd if you wish to gain a very wholesome, quite recent collection. A lot of these songs i discovered in the summer of 06 while working in a bar and ended up downloading quite a few. I decided to buy this because i knew it had some awesome tracks already but just in case i had missed any, i wanted to know. I wasnt disappointed, i can name at least 10 out of 16 tracks on the first cd alone that i really really enjoy, considering for a normal studio album you dont usually get this, its my reason for 5 stars. If you recognise at least 5 tracks that you like then its your type of cd, you should buy this to complete your collection. Happy Listening!

Very Best Of Xtreme Euphoria Mixed By Lisa Lashes

I guess it was only a matter of time untill Ministry Of Sound released a Hard Dance/Hard House classics compilation.

On the whole this is an acceptable album and as it focuses on the "Harder" side of EDM which hasent been so widely milked or ruined by commercialism unlike Trance and so although it is a "Very Best Of...." it still has some dignity as do the tracks.

However.....Ministry of Sound just couldnt let a classics album go without:

a) giving it 3CD's
b) putting on all the usual suspects on this un-needed extra disc

I am of course refering to the first disc that low and behold has tracks such as "Sandstorm" (do we realy need this track AGAIN??? its not particularly that good anyway) and a remake of ... Read More:

Excellent choice of tracks and great mixing. I'm not a huge fan of Jay Burnett but this is Jay at his best. Well worth buying!

Very good overall but not really a proper "euphoria" sounding album that will allow you to chill out. I do like listening to it but there are much better euphoria albums mixed by others that are a lot better.

Euphoria - Return to Ibiza

I know the Ibiza classics thing has been done to death, but this is a pretty decent collection of tunes.
The might sounds flawless, but thats because it is. This whole album has been mixed on a PC - time stretched, pitch shifted, edited, the full works.
Now, I don't mind this - it's a CD full of classics but together in a clever and innovative way. But the time-stretching makes the sound quality AWFUL. The whole album sounds gritty, vocals sound choppy, and wonderful sweeping strings on trance tunes just sound pitted.
A great concept, good tunes, but poorly executed.
