This is a wonderful album, musically. The sound is clear, the choices superb.
BUT - and it is a big but - if you are planning to use tracks from this album for your wedding there is a potential for gross confusion because the digital index is for a Maria Callas album. So be warned, and make sure that whoever is in charge of ensuring that the right track is played at the right time has their wits about them.

We used quotes from this book on our order of service, kept the guests busy....and they loved it so much many took it home instead of the keepsake !. Some moving, and beautiful poetry and quotes. Absolutely ideal inspiration for brides to be. I still browse through my now dog -eared ,tatty copy at times over a coffee...ahhh

Weddings often bring out the best in music, and this `Classic FM Music For Weddings' certainly reflects the type of music being played at today's happy occasions.

It has though been superseded by the 2CD Classic FM `Weddings 2008' which not only gives a little more choice but more importantly divides the music into two categories - religious weddings and church weddings, for it is easy to forget that sacred music (loosely termed as that which was written for the church or a religious occasion) is not allowed to be played at civic weddings while the registrar is present.

I would not recommend you buy this CD. The first CD is based on church wedding music and the second on more popular first dance music. None of which are very romantic. It is not worth the money!!!!

heartsongs is a small book with a lot of different readings and poems.
It covers different styles in different chapters.

I bought this book because I am searching some ideas and inspirations to write my vows and I think I have the right book.
It is nicely designed, well structured and has many different styles, with different lenghts to choose from and get ideas from.

If I will be ever asked to make a reading at a wedding I am well equipped too! I have for all kind of requests the right solution.

The Complete Wedding Album

Choosing wedding music had been getting a bit boring several CD's later and hearing the same old classics repeating themselves. After receiving this CD it gave my a lot of inspiration for music for a civil wedding. There were some well hidden gems in this including an instrumental of "Unchained Melody" which had everyone in tears, and Vivaldi's "Largo from Concerto for Guitar" which was beautiful. The CD offers a wide range of choice, so if you are looking specifically for a harp piece, or guitar peice, contemporary or piano, they are all segregated ready for you. This is the best wedding album I've come across so far.
