Can't understand all the negative comments here - I think this is probably the most consistent of the HK mix albums. World Series 1 was close but let down by the Twisted Disco set. Here, however, even that one touches the spot.

It seems that commerciality put a lot of people off and they shy away from anything which has the whiff of the charts about it - I was the same when I was a teenager! But if it's good, it's good and all three cds here are superb. The choice of tunes is spot on and the mixing second to none. The runthrough going from "Dusk Till Dawn" / "We Are Family" / "Boogie"/ "Fade" on CD1 is vintage Hed Kandi and its beyond me how anyone can disagree.

Hed Kandi - The Winter Mix 2004

This box set is a great follow up to Hed Kandi Summer 04. I think that CD1 of this set one of the best Hed Kandi CD's. The tracks are truly classic Kandi and you can listen to them over and over again.

Recently bought & glad I did!

This combines commercial songs together with more unknown tracks that get you boppin and thinkin 'god this is good'.

Can't wait to listen to while I'm gettin ready for my next nite out :0)

Luv Hed Kandi, and with this the legacy continues. I would recommend, but then again I do like my kandi.

Hed Kandi - Serve Chilled

I have been disappointed with this Hed Kandi Album. What the people are raving about (other reviewers)boggles the mind. For the few (3) nice tracks on the album (both) it is not worth it at all. I cannot recommend it. The label should spend more time on the music selection than on the album artwork.

Well here is a selection of music that is right up there with the hottest name in jazz funk and soul a mixture of chilled vibes and laid back tunes, But doe sit really cut the mustard?

I have to agree that Head candi was gettinga bit stale and samley but is this really the way forward?

I think the jury is still out on that.

The combination is great but it lacks a certain something that head candi really needs to survive (Drive)

I think presonally Head Candi is never gonna lose it's way but isn't it time to rehashing old vibes and link to the new generation

Sadly dissapointed!!

Crickey! Have the dudes at Hed Kandi bought a CD burner to save money? This could easily be a copy of the latest uninspired MOS release. I have a nasty feeling that HK are beginning to disappear up their own ar$es, just like some of the shiny boys and girls who attend their events.... I remember the days when HK were innovative - this is just paint by numbers, chart house. Long live originality and creativity!

if you are an orginal hed kandi listener that got seriously upset by the label being ruined by the monster that is the minstry of sound then this is for you. Its like a step back in time to the original disco kandi days. ministry of sound may have killed hed kandi but thank god doyle started a fresh. buy his albums while you can before the ministry buy out the competetion again

I'm starting to become a regular of the Hed Kandi complilations but am am finding I still have to be picky. This CD was just an add on to a bigger order and has funnily enough turned out as the best CD that I have bought out of the bunch.!! The CD starts of with a nice cool chilled summery vibe, then picks up to some smooth disco grooves, to then finish with some upbeat mixes with old school samples and vibes..!! Very happy indeed and have been left wanting more.
