Now this is coming from a long time Kandi Fan...
When I first bought this album I hated it, I played it a couple of times and then consigned it to the bottom of my cd collection, swearing never to buy any more Kandi anymore - Please come back Mr Mark Doyle all is forgiven.
But.........
Fast-forward a couple of months and I dug it out again and gave it another go and now I love it. Can't get enough of it!
Watch out for the last track on side 1 - All This Love - Similou This remix is going to be massive!!! (The original track is rubbish but this remix is something else!)

absolutely stunning from the chilling atmospheric warrior to the mindblowing loose canons why you this cd just bangs and bangs respect to the dudes at team kandi you did it again guys
Release Date February 12, 2007
This is a good electro house album, however, Mark Doyle (the former HEDKANDI genius)influence is clearly missed!. This is still one of my favourites from the HED Kandi selection; funky and uplifting, although it lacks originality and depth compared to the Mark Doyle days! Feirce Angel here I come (the new Mark Doyle (genius) label).

Beach House is one of my favourite in Kandi's series . For 69 the sound's unmistakably beach house's lighter dance grooves exploring this unique chilled mid to up tempoe trip through, laid back house, latin , jazzy and electronic baleiric pop flavours, without going in to overkill. This is more of a vintage Kandi collection for the old Kandi followers with favourite names such as MJ Cole, Miguel Migs,Physics also ,other poolside movers from Roachford and Hotchip The Hed Kandi team have brought out another winner for the summer pre- club .party warm up to go well with Served Chilled, for the after hours wind down

I agree with the reviewer below in that some of HK's recent releases have been slightly dodgy and appear to be cashing in on the rise in popularity of funky house music. Die hard fans have been complaining for months about the acquisition of the brand from ailing and tyrannical parent MoS, but it seems that the producers of this album have been given a more free reign to take HK back to its roots.
I'm glad CD1 wasn't reprasentative of the whole album, with lots of fairly commercial "heard it all before" tracks, only saved by decent mixing, however CD2 and 3 are subliminal. Never have Hed Kandi been this funky, the only comparison I can think of is HK: The Mix 50, another brilliant compilation. Tracks from Dervish, Bel Amour, Doc Da Funk, Stonebridge ... Read More:

I have been disappointed with this Hed Kandi Album. What the people are raving about (other reviewers)boggles the mind. For the few (3) nice tracks on the album (both) it is not worth it at all. I cannot recommend it. The label should spend more time on the music selection than on the album artwork.

For me, this was a good purchase. There are hardly any songs I dont like on it, as so happens often with these compilations. It is my first hed kandi CD box that I have bought though and usually steer clear of them. This could change my mind. I particularly like Byron Stingily (Get up everybody) and of course I want your soul by Armand Van Helden. Dont buy if you want something less commercial (although trust me it isnt that commercial!!) mind you if you have a clue what is, then you shouldnt be looking at these CD's anyway!

Cover looks nice... But I was very disapointed by this collection... Back to Love series were never my favourites from the Hed Kandi label - however I admired how unique this series was at releasing hard to find tracks from the 80's, and really did help people to re-discover tracks that they have heard before from somewhere, but were never in the commercial lime light fully - which made the series in itself exhibit some form of unique underground feel which was admirable whether or not you preferred other Hed Kandi genres, because it gave the compilation it's "individuality" which is MISSING a lot in club music these days... Does this Back To Love provide that?? Hell no, of course not, it's a ministry of sound release, therefore has tracks that are, and probably will ... Read More:

With the current release of Hed Kandi cds you can see the direction that the brand has taken since being bought by MOS. These compilations are no longer about the music but aimed at making money and rank up there with the NOW!!! That's What I Call Music in the cheesy stakes. Acquiring the brand was a huge coup for MOS but with the increasing commercialisation of house music it was going to be interesting as to which way the brand was to go. Unfortunately if you're a fan of house music give this a miss as you might as well just turn on the radio to hear these tunes. If you're a true fan of house music purchase something by Defected or Fierce Angels to hear the real sound of house
