This album seems to be one which you either love or hate. Personally, I love it! Whereas some people feel that after a year's wait, this does not live up to the hype, I would definitely disagree. It is very rare that I find an album where I love every single track, but this is it. The main problem for Leona is that she went through the x-factor singing flawless renditions of some of the world's best known and best loved songs. Unfortunately, therefore, she was almost expected to produce an album of tracks which could rival these songs. Having now heard her album, to compare her to Lily Allen is a travesty. Adele is far better, her smooth voice and song writing skill for starters...

And whilst we're on the subject of comparisons, there's only one similarity to Amy Winehouse - and that is I love both of their albums, when my expectations were low.

Daydreamer: A chilled, melodic start to her debut album, but on first listen you kinda want to skip it to speed up your new listening experience. This is definitely one of those tracks you have to listen to a few times. Vocally she is very good.

This is a brillant album, but why did they need to release it with only three tracks.Anyway here is a review of each track:
Umbrella feat jay-z-10/10 This track doesn't really need an introduction, i wasn't sure about this song at first like everyone else but it grew on me and became her first number 1 and stayed at number 1 for 10 weeks
Push up on me-10/10 A brillant dance track,one of my favourite cuts on the album
Don't stop the music-10/10 I loved this song, but i feel it has got overplayed
Breaking dishes-10/10 Another great dance tune,again another of my favourites on the album
Shut up and drive-10/10 I think a lot of people weren't feeling this song when it came out but i loved it and still do,it's a great pop/rock tune ... Read More:

Growing Pains

It's rare you get hooked on a CD on the first listen but this is one
of those. With so many RnB artists coming out today it is so hard
to find one which stands head and shoulders above others. This is one
of them. Track after track I was constantly hitting the repeat button.
Mary's experiences and maturity definitely shines through on this album.
Without a doubt much thought went into the production of this material.
Very nice music and musical arrangments as well as very meaningful lyrics.

Shock Value

I loved all but one track on this CD...it is very rare to find an album with so many great songs. While they all share a similar tie to the techno mixed with hip-hop, the CD still boasts a vast array of different styles: fast, slow, heavy bass, masculine, feminine...I just can't say enough good things about the songs.

I think the people who will enjoy this CD the most are the ones who listened to techno in the 80s, but enjoy today's hip-hop just as much.

Before I bought this album, I bought Loose...after hearing both albums, I am convinced Timbaland will go down in history as one of the greatest producers that ever lived.

This album is wicked,when i listened to it for the first i was hooked,here is a review of each track:

About you know-10/10 This song is wicked and very catchy,it stayed at #1 for four weeks,one of my favourites off the album

Never gonna dance again-10/10 Another catchy song,all the girls vocals sound brill on this track

Denial-8/10 I loved this song when i first heard on the album i really liked it but once it became a single i thought it got overplayed that is why i have only given this track 8/10

My love is pink-10/10 A really catchy tune,i love the chrous,one of my favourites on the album
