I know Mr Diamond lets do another album together, says Mr Rubin and like the last one strip it back and bore everyone to death.

Dull, dull and dull. What are you all talking about i was asleep quicker this time than last time. Even live he tries to liven them up a bit.

I have seen Neil Diamond live many times and own all his albums including this one JUST BECAUSE YOU FEEL YOU HAVE TOO. Please bring back the old Neil Diamond maybe not the Heartlight one but the Forever in Blue Jeans one would be nice.

My wife and I went to see the stage show about a year ago ..... I didn't think I would enjoy it, but I did .... brilliant show.

Then the film came out and we went to see it with some friends, I was convinced that the film would be cheesy and wouldn't be able to hold a candle to the stage show ......... it's one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen ....... lifts your mood and is a really excellent feel good experience.

OK so Brosnan isn't anything of a singer, but it doesn't matter because it makes the film more believable, (even though it's all pretty far fetched), and if all the singers were perfect then it would be a bit too cheesy.

Cannot recommend this enough!!!!

All I Intended to Be

I liked this album a lot. It starts off strong and gets better through to the two songs at the end, which for me were the highlights. Beautiful lyrics, beautiful voice, beautiful music, beautifully produced. A melancholy album pretty much through and through I felt, and that would be my only criticism. Nothing pacey and upbeat to help mix it up a bit. Four stars from me.

Highwaymen Live [1990]

I was lucky enough to see The Highwaymen live in when they came to the UK, probably not long after this show was recorded and the show I saw was very similar to the one they did on the DVD. I have always been a huge fan of Willie Nelson and also like the others, but when you see them together you cannot believe you have 4 huge country stars on the same stage, singing together!. The DVD brought back many memories of one of the best live shows I have seen - and I have been to loads. The rapport between the guys is obvious, and regardless of what Willie says about 'all of us having ego's the size of a bus' what cmes over is a fantasic group of country singers doing what they do best. Very Best Of

This latest TV advertised set has 20 tracks from the America's first soul group. All the original 50's well known songs are included, except for "You'll Never, Never Know (I Care)". Have they included "You'll Never Know", which is a different tune entirely, by mistake ? However, it's the oddities that make this compilation so intriguing. If you buy the album for Tony Williams smooth lead vocals, you will not be disappointed by the hits and versions of standards like "September In The Rain" and you might even be pleasantly surprised by rare tracks like "I Don't Know Why", presumably with Zola Taylor on lead. Is it a different male lead on "Temptation" and "You've Changed" ? Nevertheless, they are fine cuts. I would have preferred if the version of "Crying In The Chapel" ... Read More:

True I have been a Willie Nelson fan for many years. Just at a time when you perhaps expect a drop in his vocal ability after all Willie is well past 70, the man comes up with one of the best recordings of his long career. A rich and strong voice,and a fantastic recording engineerhas produced an album to savor. The man even rocks it on some tracks. Wonderful must buy stuff.

I watched this film 'cold', without looking at trailers and reading reviews or 'the book'. So her is my lasting impression.

The characters were excellent and the story moved through action sequences and general dialogue without a pre-set pattern so, in short, the viewer could be shocked at any moment. This was used to great effect in many scenes, to the benefit of the storyline, until the 'end' of the film.

However, after watching almost everything there was to see, then getting ready for some sort of finale to answer a whole list of questions and discover the, 'who', 'what', 'where', 'when', 'why' of the whole film, we are suddenly greeted with the 'end credits'.
