Paul van Dyk is a genius! To be honest, his mix of My House and South Beach was undeniably awesome
other favourites are "I Retro", "Freakshow Disco no.2" and "No More alone"

I love Armin and think he can do no wrong. I was right! This album to fantastic. You can listen to it from start to finish and be on a journey. It juist shows what raw talent he has and how much he has put into it. It has a lot of emotion and feeling in it. Esp in track 3., unforgivable, listen to the lyrics! A wonderfully powerful tune.

In Search of Sunrise Vol.6: Ibiza/Mixed By Tiesto

I think this double CD is overated and so is Tiesto. There are DJs out there who play better trance than him. I suppose people just go for the name these days.
This CD title does have some nice bouncey beats here and there. Some of the arrangements in the tracks are nice but that is all I can say. On the whole it doesn't do a lot for me.
I am one of many who hate vocals in trance. Listening to mediocre "X-Factor pre-bootcamp" cheesey vocals ruins trance music. These CDs are peppered with this and that is one of many reasons why I have rated it 2 stars.

Above and Beyond - Anjunabeats 100

I borrowed this from my son and I've listened to all types of music in my 50 years, But this album especially disc 1 is just brilliant.

If you dont like this,then yer dead.

Is it allowed for someone my age to like this? LOL :)

Elements Of Life Remixed

This cd is def worth buying for all Tiesto fans!
I personaly love the Elements of Life album and this remixed version is fab!!
It gives you a very different mix of the original album - mixing the classics with electro/house beats but still with a trance edge!
I give 10/10 for this album and trust me you wont be disapointed!

What an amazing album it really builds you up from start to finish luv it. Really impressed with the A State Of Trance Series. Armin Van Buuren is the number 1 Trance DJ in my book. Well done with ASOT 08 keep it up.

Sirens of the Sea

This is my favourite album of 2008. I bought it on a whim having purchased previous albums by Above & Beyond - but nothing could prepare me for the sheer beauty. Justine Suissa's vocals are amazing - the music and the beats drift through me and emulate my hidden desires. My favourite track is 'On a Good Day' - the vocals are perfect. Very happy and looking forward to future releases.

Worth a purchase just for the 1sr CD. I haven't even listened to the 2nd CD. I have listened to all the previous ISOS series and can honestly say CD1 on this one is the most polished of the lot.

Fave track has to be "Arise" towards the end. A real uplifting tune.

So good this, recommend to anyone.

Just playing this and I'm so pleased I bought it.

I thought Trance was dead, but Ferry's updated electro-type take on it proves totally refreshing. He has also brought a couple of fantastic artists to my attention eg CD2 Track 3 - can't stop playing it!

am a big fan of trance, progressive, house, techno, whatever you like to call it. think this album is one of the best i've heard in a long time. usually artist albums from djs are so so, if that, but i think this one is absolutely brilliant. for me the only thing that lets it down is the dance4life track - not keen on hearing the "only take e when you need to" and "aids/hiv is lethal" messages every time i listen. luckily the track is not mixed in and you can effectively remove it from the album when you put it on your mp3 player.
