I only watched this film after seeing Step Up 2 in the cinema, and first off was rather surprised that there was a complete change of characters in the two films (except for Tyler, who was present in Step Up 2 at the start). The film itself is really enjoyable to watch - make no mistake, it's not worth an oscar and most likely will not last the decades and remain in peoples dvd collections for years to come, but it's entertaining to watch, and much better than flicking through the tv channels aimlessly for hours in an attempt to find anything half decent to watch.

I didn't know what to expect by this film, i watched the opening scene previously to buying the film, and didn't understand what was going on so stopped, but after watching it a second time i love this film, i even prefer this to step up.
This combines a very hip hop style dancing with college life and all its fraternities and sororities.
This film is based on two rival frats involved in hip hop dancing and ultimately ends in a dance off in national championships with amazing moves.
I definitely recommend this film to anyone who likes dance films, worth a watch. A real feel good movie

I would sincerely love to give this film 5 stars but i just cant. I'd be lying if i did. And the film isnt worth it.

Ok, like everyone else, i adored the 6 series of SATC and was sooooo looking forward to the film, but seriously, it was really frustrating to watch. in the end i was praying it would finish quickly.

The major problem for me was the fact that there just wasnt enough time to sort through all the ladies lives! like in the show, you had the whole season to reach a satisfying conclusion, not so in the film. One of the best things about the end of season 6 was that all the girls had found happiness, i was particularly fond of Miranda and Steve, but in the film, their relationship just get's blown to bits by his actions. it didnt even ... Firstly, i'm a guy, and although i'm not aversed to the rom-com, i prefer the "blow things up" catagory. Nevertheless, my girlfriend and i got this and watched it on DVD last night and i have to say, WHAT A FANTASTIC FILM.

It's interesting, insightful, funny. I think i spent a lot of time on the edge of the sofa, interested to what happens next. No Spoiler here, but the end is how films should finish. I finished watching this film and instantly all i wanted to do was watch it again.

If you want a great film that you could probably watch a number of times and never get bored, BUY THIS FILM.

ohh and if you are a guy, the presence of Isla Fisher and Rachel Wiesz is never going to be a bad thing.
